The Wolf Trap Center for Education is a new 54,400 SF facility that features an education hall and flexible space to host educational programs. Included in the new facility are administrative offices, a multi-media learning center and a large meeting room for the Wolf Trap Opera Company and visiting artistic residents to meet.

A 100-seat lecture auditorium is equipped with leading-edge audio visual and information technology equipment for special audience performances and lectures. The hall is flanked by a series of pre-performance practice rooms with individual acoustic and environmental controls.

The building is oriented around a light-filled center atrium, which provides day lighting to over 90% of the interior work spaces. Views and vantage points to the wooded parkland surrounding the building can be seen from all offices and meeting rooms.
